The referral system functions as follows:

You will receive 25% of the fee (1%) from successful transactions made by the person using your referral code. The referral fee will be automatically transferred to your connected wallet.

If you use a referral code, you pay less, only 0.9% fee

To access or enter a referral code, use the /referrals command. Make sure you have at least 0.01 SOL in your wallet to be eligible for referral rewards.
